With the impeccably stylish charm that gave it a nine-award sweep at The Game Awards 2026 and the top prizes at many other award shows—including the recent Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA) 2026—and 12 nominations for this year's BAFTA Games Awards, Sandfall Interactive's Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 took home the top prize at the British show, completing what has been a magnificent award run over the past year.
Alongside its three major wins for Best Game, Best Debut, and Best Performer in a Leading Role (for Jennifer English), superhero comedy Dispatch also made its voice heard with wins in the Animation, Audio Achievement, and Performer in a Supporting Role (for Jeffrey Wright) categories.
One of the major highlights of the event was having music composer David Arnold (famed for his James Bond film scores), present the award for Music, and also reveal the title song for IO Interactive's 007: First Light, sung by Lana Del Ray.
The show also featured a special live performance of Stay the Night from Talia Mar, in addition to Daredevil fame Charlie Cox presenting one of the awards. Notably, Cox had also been nominated for his role as Gustave in Expedition 33.
