A UAE-based real estate developer has detailed how Indian buyers accounted for 14.38 per cent of its total business during the first half of 2026, suggesting that Indians constituted one of the largest overseas markets.

According to UAE-based real estate developer BNW Developments, it planned to construct around 10,000 homes across Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah over the next four years as it expanded its footprint in the UAE.

“India is not simply an important source market for BNW; it is a strategic partner in our growth journey. The contribution of Indian buyers reflects the confidence they place in the UAE as an investment destination and in developers that offer credibility, transparency and long-term value,” BNW Developments chairman and founder Ankur Aggarwal said.

He added that the company aimed to develop nearly 10,000 homes over the next four years while strengthening its network of channel partners to support Indian investors looking at opportunities in the UAE real estate market.

In the press meet held in Delhi, the company executives mentioned how buyers were placing greater emphasis on a developer’s execution capability, project quality, location and long-term credibility while making investment decisions.

The growing Indian presence in the UAE’s property sector also saw New Consolidated Construction Company Limited, one of India’s oldest and most respected construction firms and a subsidiary of Nisus Finance Services Co Limited, entering the UAE as part of the company’s strategic expansion into the GCC region’s growing construction industry.

This comes at a time when the country is strengthening its strategic partnership with India, aiming to double bilateral trade from US$100 billion to US$200 billion over the next few years.
