In an interesting gesture, Iran has written messages thanking the "people of India" on missiles fired at Israel.
The images showing the messages were shared on social media by the Consulate General of Iran in Mumbai. One of the messages inscribed on a missile read, "Thank you people of India". Other messages also thanked the people of Germany, Spain and Pakistan.
The messages are said to be a gesture in response to the sympathy shown by India and other nations towards Iran in the ongoing conflict. It should be noted that India has remained neutral in the war, urging all sides to de-escalate tensions and engage in talks to resolve the crisis.
Sharing the messages inscribed on the missiles, the Iranian consulate posted on X, "Gratitude from Iran’s Aerospace Force to the people of Spain, Pakistan, India, and Germany for their support and solidarity; especially during the 83rd wave of missile response to the U.S. and Israel."
Press TV revealed that the IRGC launched the 83rd wave of Operation True Promise 4 on Friday morning to strike the US and Israeli military targets in the region.
Iran recently allowed vessels bearing flags of India and other friendly nations to pass the Strait of Hormuz amid the ongoing blockade in the region.
This comes amid reports of women donating gold jewellery, copper utensils, and other household items to Iranian embassy. The Iranian Embassy in New Delhi mentioned in a post that a Kashmiri woman donated gold kept as a memento of her husband.
"A respected sister from Kashmir donated the gold kept as a memento of her husband who passed away 28 years ago with a heart full of love and solidarity for the people of #Iran. Your tears and pure emotions are the greatest source of comfort for the people of Iran and will never be forgotten. Thank you #Kashmir. Thank you #India," the post read.
