The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Sunday released a shocking video showing what it described as "a fraction of Hamas’s brutal actions" during the massacre of October 7, 2023.

The Israeli military claimed that it was responding to Hamas's recently released 42-page manifesto, in which it "denies the murder of civilians, the killing of children, and sexual violence, while rejecting documented facts" about what happened on October 7.

The video—which the IDF claimed was already "released for publication" two years ago—featured extremely gory visuals of dead bodies being dragged out of cars, civilians being shot, destroyed houses, and blood-spattered rooms.

Titled 'Our Narrative... Al-Aqsa Flood: Two Years of Steadfastness and the Will for Liberation', Hamas's new manifesto calls on Israel to allow for an independent international investigation into the events of October 7, 2023.

“The Israeli entity promoted a series of lies and fallacies about killing children and raping women, paving the way to proceed with an all-out genocide project that was pre-planned and aimed to erase Gaza from existence,” the document read.

Other chapters offer more context into Hamas's perspective, shedding light on Hamas's descriptions of its “diplomatic” activities and its priorities for the current stage of the war.

The 2023 attack saw Hamas-led militants launch a surprise ambush on the Nova music festival in Israel—in line with a wider assault on Israel with rockets and raids on army bases.

The cross-border attack was Israel's stated reason for engaging in its current two-year-long war with Gaza, which reached a fragile truce brokered by US President Donald Trump in October this year.
