This comes just a day after the Delhi Police denied permission for the Oct 30 concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, citing security and crowd management concerns.

Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh's AURA India Tour show in Delhi will take place on October 30, confirmed BookMyShow on Friday, saying that the Delhi Police had "reconsidered" its earlier decision.

This comes just a day after the Delhi Police denied permission for the concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, citing security and crowd management concerns, sparking claims that the Delhi show was cancelled.

The news also led to the singer posting a video on social media, with a cryptic message about hurdles in life and the need to stay strong despite them, and the Delhi concert details in the caption.

"Whenever someone tries to pull you back, whenever someone tries to sabotage your work, you actually end up with more energy. Sometimes it happens that the job is not for you, you deserve something even better, focus on that ... If today, you are suffering because of that thing, if today you are facing a hurdle because of it, it may be happening for your good and for your betterment in the future," he said in the video.

However, the ticketing platform said that it had a “cordial and constructive” meeting with the police and submitted a detailed plan addressing the concerns raised by the authorities, such as the number of private security guards required, crowd management measures, and various other arrangements.

Trouble for Diljit Dosanjh down the road?

While the Punjabi singer's October 30 concert seems to have been sorted, his November 27 concert at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse was included in a bomb threat email on Friday.

The email, received at the office of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Ritu Tawde, was from an outfit that called itself the Khalistan National Army (KNA).

The mail also contained threats against Mayor Tawde, veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, and a number of city-based schools.

However, the police said that they had conducted proper checks after the mail was sent, and that nothing suspicious was found, as per a Hindustan Times report.
