Satellite images show a clear sky this week and a bright sun. The weather on Tuesday morning seemed to be heralding the arrival of the winter season, the weather experts said, adding that the beginning of the wind blowing from the west and the clear weather is a clear indication of the departure of the monsoon.
That said, many parts of North India, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Northeast India, and many areas of South India, will witness heavy rain on Tuesday.

Strong winds of 40-50 kilometres per hour, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, are expected in Central Maharashtra, with gusts reaching up to 60 kilometres per hour.
Rainfall is also expected to begin in Konkan and Goa on Tuesday and continue until October 4th. Rainfall accompanied by strong winds is expected on September 29th.
