According to information provided by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation to RTI activist Anil Galgali, a total of 79 election petitions have been filed challenging the election of corporators.

Shiv Sena UBT faces highest mumber of petitions
According to the information provided by the municipal corporation, the party-wise figures show that Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) corporators face the highest number of petitions, with 24 cases.
The BJP follows with 16 petitions, while Congress corporators face 10. Shiv Sena (Shinde) has seven petitions, AIMIM five, MNS two, and the Nationalist Congress Party one.
Out of the 79 election petitions, the elections of five corporators have so far been adversely affected and annulled. These include two corporators from Shiv Sena UBT, two from AIMIM and one from the Nationalist Congress Party.
