The Cockroach Janta Party has reiterated its plans to hold a march in Delhi on September 5.

The group said that three of the four demands that led to it calling off the protest on July 25 have not been met.

The CJP said that the government still hasn't provided Compensation for families of students, Withdrawal of the FIRs against student protesters, and that they still have not received an RAF & Delhi Police apology.

In a post on X, the group called the crackdown on protesters on July 20 a Black Monday and posted a videographic record of the incident on its official website.

“The Black Monday Record documents the crackdown, from lathis, tear gas, and pellet guns to assaults on protesters by unbadged personnel.”

The CJP also said that it records 11 unanswered questions “at the heart of our demand for accountability.”

“With each passing day, these questions become harder to ignore, and the demand for answers grows stronger”, the post added.

Responding to the post, CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka wrote, We will not hold back. You might have the govt; the country is ours. Keep your words. Accept our demands. Or this Sept 5, be ready for Cockroaches! “

The September 5 march was announced earlier. The group said that the march would begin at India Gate and proceed towards the New Delhi Police headquarters.

The march would be led by the families of the deceased NEET victims and victims of alleged police brutality, with students, youth organisations, and young citizens expected to join.

The group said that the government was delaying the action on its assurance, particularly the withdrawal of the FIRs against the protesters.

The groups said that they withdrew the protest in good faith after talks with Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh on July 25.
