A masked assailant dragged out and stabbed a 30-year-old teacher to death at a private school in Sikrauna in Haryana’s Faridabad on Monday.

CCTV footage of the incident showed the man entering the village private school and dragging the teacher out before repeatedly stabbing her, and leaving her seriously injured and falling to the ground. The incident occurred at around 9: 40 am.

The man also attacked the school owner who arrived on the scene with the knife.

School Principal Dr Tejpal Sharma said the accused stabbed him twice while he tried to defend himself. Inspector Kewal Singh said that the assailant chased away the teachers' colleagues before stabbing her in the neck

The accused reportedly stabbed the teacher 34 times within a span of 32 seconds. He is reportedly from the village court.

The accused also fled the scene before the other teachers could arrive.

A police team arrived at the scene and took the injured woman to the Al Falah Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Police are currently investigating the incident and searching for the suspect. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to ascertain the assailant’s identity and investigating other forensic evidence.
