Siya Goyal’s father clarifies middle finger video; says she injured her hand on police car door
Siya Goyal's father, Praveen Goyal, has addressed the controversy surrounding a viral video that appeared to show his daughter making an obscene gesture to journalists
Siya Goyal, accused of conspiring with her alleged lover, Chetan Choudhary, to murder her fiancé, Ketan Agarwal, by pushing him off a cliff, has sparked public outrage after a video appeared to show her making a middle finger gesture to journalists outside her Pune residence during a police investigation, though her father, Praveen Goyal, claims the gesture was unintentional, resulting from an injury sustained when a car door slammed her finger as she entered a vehicle. Further complicating the case, Pune Police have informed the court that deleted text messages were recovered from the accused's phones, revealing the use of code words, nicknames, and emojis for communication regarding the murder, which was planned by the couple who were scheduled to marry in November.
