Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds are expected across multiple regions on Monday as an active monsoon pattern continues to influence weather conditions across India. 

The India Meteorological Department has forecast rain activity in Delhi NCR, while the monsoon is set to intensify in Mumbai as the southwest monsoon continues to strengthen over the west coast. 

Delhi is set to find relief from the sweltering heat with rain expected on Monday. The IMD predicts thunderstorms, showers, and strong winds across Delhi-NCR as monsoon conditions improve over north India. 

Meanwhile, Mumbai is also set to witness rainfall today. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and its surrounding areas, warning that gusty winds and thunderstorms are likely to occur. 

The Konkan region, including areas around Mumbai, is expected to see increased rainfall activity as monsoon winds strengthen along the coast. 

Noida may witness cloudy skies with chances of rain and thunderstorms. 

According to IMD, Gurugram is likely to experience partly cloudy conditions with the possibility of rain spells. The city recently witnessed dust storm activity, and weather changes are expected as monsoon conditions progress across Haryana.

In Ghaziabad, residents may experience short spells of rain rather than continuous rainfall during the day. 

Pune is expected to remain cloudy with rain activity likely during the afternoon and evening. Monsoon showers are expected to continue across Maharashtra as rainfall activity remains strong over the western region.

Chandigarh may experience cloudy weather with chances of showers as monsoon conditions gradually advance across north India. The IMD has indicated that the southwest monsoon is expected to move further into northern regions in the coming days.

Towards the south, in Chennai, humidity levels are expected to remain high, with chances of scattered rainfall in some regions.

The weather may remain partly cloudy with chances of thunderstorms and isolated rain in Jaipur. 

In Hyderabad, cloudy conditions with possible rain spells are expected during the day.
