Monalisa Bhosle, the amber-eyed girl who turned a viral sensation during the 2025 Kumbh Mela, on Tuesday alleged that director Sanoj Mishra misbehaved with her the set of his film and punched her multiple times.
Speaking at a press conference in Kochi, Monalisa said that though she revealed the ordeal to her family, they ignored her and said that it was her first film. She was accompanied by her husband, Farman Khan, at the press meet.
The incident allegedly occurred when Monalisa, now 18, was still a minor. She said she will lodge a police complaint against Sanoj Mishra.
This comes two weeks after Monalisa filed a police complaint at Thampanoor police station in Thiruvananthapuram on March 11, claiming her family had been forcing her to marry another person.
She reportedly refused to go with her father Vijay Singh Bhosle to the airport. Police then informed her father that since she is 18, she has the legal right to choose her partner.
On the same day, Monalisa and Farman Khan tied the knot in Kerala. The wedding ceremony was held at Arumanoor Nainar Temple in Thiruvananthapuram on March 11. It was attended by minister V. Sivankutty and CPI(M) state secretary M.V. Govindan.
