The autopsy report of 23-year-old Sahil Dhaneshra, who was killed earlier this month in a multi-vehicle crash in Dwraka, stated that he died due to severe haemorrhage.

The report confirmed the extent of the trauma sustained when a Mahindra Scorpio SUV allegedly driven by a 17-year-old struck Dhaneshra’s motorcycle.

Meanwhile, the 17-year-old was given bail on Monday for his Class 10 board exams, the Delhi police said on Tuesday.

Inna Makan, Sahil’s mother, has alleged that her son’s death was a result of a “reckless stunt driving for social media reels” and demanded strict action against those who were responsible.

"My son was going to the office on the 3rd of February. He (Scorpio driver), along with his sister, was out on his Scorpio to make fun reels. The speed with which the Scorpio is being driven is clearly visible in the reel. He (Scorpio driver) was driving in the opposite lane and came right in front of the bus and performed a stunt. My son looked to the right to see whether there was space. Because there was an e-rickshaw on the left side of the bus. The Scorpio collided with the motorcycle and hit the roadside parked car, " She told ANI.

The accident occurred on February 3 near Lal Bahadur Shastri College in south-west Delhi. The minor was driving the vehicle without a license. He was produced before the juvenile justice board and later sent to an observation home hours before being granted temporary relief.

Makan, who spoke to NDTV, also said there are multiple challans on the car driven by the minor.

"There were 13 challans on this car... many of the UP state and all are for speeding," she said.

Describing the scene of the accident, she said, “I ran to my car and reached there. My son was lying on the road. His jacket was torn... He was in a very bad condition... I understood that he had been screaming for 10 minutes. AN ambulance was there, but he was not taken to the hospital.”

By the time he was taken to the hospital, he was dead, she said.

The autopsy report released on Tuesday showed that the Sahil suffered from lung damage and brain swelling. The report concluded that the the injuries were consistent with the circumstances of the road accident. The cause of death was recorded as haemorrhagic shock resulting from cranio-cerebral injury, along with injuries to the right upper limb and damage to vital organs. There were multiple fractures in the left 4th, 5th and 6th ribs, and around 100 ml of blood was found in both pleural cavities, indicating significant internal chest trauma.

Makan has said that the police assured him that there will be a fair investigation despite the teen accused being out on bail to take his school exams.

Shail was raised by Makan who is a single parent amid financial hardships. He was in his final semester of his BBA course and had secured admission to a university in manchester and was preparing to leave for UK later this year. He had taken up a part time job to support his education and managed his university applications independently.

Makan has been appealing to the press and social media for accountability since the crash. "I will keep posting till I get an answer as to why action can't be taken against someone who was not supposed to drive in the first place," she said.
