Did astrologer Prashant Kini predict death of Ajit Pawar in accident? Truth behind the viral prediction

Critics point out that the details of his prediction do not match Ajit Pawar's political career

A popular astrologer, Prashant Kini, has claimed that he had predicted the death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in the plane crash at Baramati.

Ajit Pawar was among the five people killed after an aircraft carrying them crashed in Maharashtra's Pune district on Wednesday morning.

In a social media post on November 8, 2025, Kini had predicted that between December 2025 and February 2026, a person who had served as a chief minister or a Union minister might be killed.

"Some Indian veteran Politicians who once served as Chief Minister or Central Minister may perish in between December 2025 to February 2026...!!," the tweet had read.

Soon after the news of Pawar's death, the astrologer claimed in a tweet that his prediction had come true.

I have predicted one veteran Politician will die in between December 2025 to February 2026....!!

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister AJIT PAWAR died in a Air crash...!!

However, many of his followers pointed out that Prashant Kini's claim is not entirely true. One person commented that Ajit Pawar has never been a chief minister or a Union minister and that the prediction has failed.

Some others pointed out that it is easy to make such vague forecasts and that he had not specified which state the person who would die was from.

Prashant Kini has so many such ominous predictions filling his X page. Some of these include a ferry carrying passengers will sink in either Bengal or Bangladesh in April 2026, a plane crash will occur within the next two months, and a major train accident will happen in one of the upcoming months of March, August, or November.
