The Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) has announced that non-Hindus will be barred from entering 45 temples under its jurisdiction, including the Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines.
A formal resolution will be passed to preserve the religious sanctity and age-old traditions of Uttarakhand’s "Devbhoomi”, BKTC Chairman Hemant Dwivedi said.
