An Udaipur-based firm named GKM IT recently went viral for its 'Women Friendly' rating after its founder and CEO Jeetesh Sisodia was arrested on Friday for allegedly raping his female co-worker in a moving car.

According to the company website, which was down as of 5 PM on Friday, GKM IT was rated 4.7/5 for its women-centric policies—a cruel bit of irony that is slowly going viral—and 4.1/5 for being 'Employee Centric'.

The police said on Friday that Sisodia was among three arrested in connection with the gang-rape case, including an executive head at the IT firm, Shilpa Sirohi, and Sirohi's husband, Gaurav, as per a News18 report.

The incident reportedly took place after a birthday party that Sisodia, the main accused, hosted on December 20—which the victim attended.

Despite feeling intoxicated towards the end of the birthday party, at which point several people there offered to drop her home, Sirohi allegedly coaxed the employee to join an after-party.

For that, the employee was led to a car with Sisodia and Gaurav in it. During the journey, the accused trio allegedly stopped at a shop to buy something that the employee claimed was given to her, which made her lose consciousness.

A while later, she claimed she briefly regained consciousness to find herself being gang-raped by the trio, despite her feeble attempts to resist.

The employee added that she was finally dropped at her residence much later on, at which time she regained consciousness properly.

Feeling severe pain and weakness, she underwent a medical examination at a private hospital, which confirmed sexual assault, after which she approached the police.

This medical evidence, in addition to dashcam footage from the car in which the heinous crime allegedly took place, is said to be an important part of the case she registered against the trio at the Sukher Police Station in Udaipur.

“The accused were produced before a court and sent on four-day police remand,” Udaipur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal had said on Thursday.
