Targeting the Rashtriya Janata Dal-Congress-led Mahagathbandhan in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said there is severe infighting in the Opposition alliance and they lacked unity. Modi said cadres of the key parties in the Opposition alliance are going to break each other's heads once the Bihar assembly election results are out.
Calling the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha as 'naamdar' of Congress, Modi charged that Rahul Gandhi was missing from the campaign trail, and he was "forcefully" brought for the campaign in Bihar. "People say that he didn't even want to come to Bihar and was forcibly brought here. But now, he is causing harm to the RJD. Those who can betray their own allies for the sake of power can never be well-wishers of Bihar," Modi charged.
The prime minister said Congress-RJD cadres were pulling each other down this election. "After elections, all these INDI Alliance partners will be seen breaking each other's heads. The RJD put a katta at the head of the Congress to get its leader (Tejashwi Yadav) named as the chief minister candidate," Modi charged. "The Congress, which has been humiliated further with its 'naamdaar' not featuring in any of the RJD's posters, is out to avenge the humiliation," he added.
Accusing the Opposition of protecting infiltrators, the prime minister said the Mahagathbandhan has "soft corner for infiltrators, but dislikes Lord Ram and Chhathi Maiya". "The NDA is committed to driving out each and every infiltrator from the country. But the Congress-RJD offer them protection, take out political yatras in their favour and come up with misleading narratives," Modi charged.

Referring to the RJD regime in the state as "jungle raj", the prime minister said 'katta' (country-made weapons), 'kroorta' (cruelty), 'katuta' (bitterness), 'kushasan' (misgovernance) and corruption were hallmarks of that regime.
The voting for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly polls is underway at 121 constituencies in the state; 53.77 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 3pm.
