Plurals party founder Pushpam Priya Choudhary accuses Bihar BJP MLA of sending 'goons' to attack party workers

Pushpam Priya Chaudhary, the founder of the Plurals Party, accused BJP MLA Sanjay Saraogi from Darbhanga in Bihar of sending goons to attack her party workers in a post on X.

She said the the “goons” attacked members of her party during a live TV debate in Dharbanga while the BJP leader was present.

In the video that was shared on X, a group of people can be seen attacking a man in the clip.

She alleged that the MLAs, who were watching from the stage, continued to talk even after the brawl had taken place.

On the post on X, she said, “Recently, during a live TV debate in Darbhanga, the goons of local MLA Mr Sanjay Saraogi attacked our worker and beat him fearlessly in front of the MLA, who was scared of defeat. They sat and watched the show, continuing to talk nonsense. This is the respect given to Mithila and her daughter in Bihar’s gangsterism.”

Dharbangi is a central part of the region of Mithila.

In another post, she said that she had to escape the MLA and the minister of Darbhanga for 20 years.

In the post, she said, “After escaping from the goons of MLA and Minister of Darbhanga for 20 years, I have just returned home and am sitting here. I can't believe that this is my city, Darbhanga, the land of my mother Mithila! The whole of Bihar has given me respect for the last five years, but today in my birthplace itself, the demons have dared to insult me ​​like this. I am not afraid.”

She also shared the posts on Instagram.

Who is Pushpam Priya Choudhary?

Pushpam Priya Choudhary is the daughter of former JDU MLA Vinod Kumar Chaudhary . Her grandfather, Professor Umakant Chaudhary, founded the Samata Party and was a close associate of Nitish Kumar. She studied in the UK, and after returning, she founded The Plurals Party in 2020. She is contesting the Bihar elections from the Darbhanga constituency. She is often only seen wearing black, along with a black mask.

Pushpam has said that she will only remove the mask after winning the election.
