The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has released its joint election manifesto for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The manifesto, or the Sankalp Patra, was released in a joint press conference by BJP chief JP Nadda and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday, conducted in Patna.

The party made 25 key promises in the manifesto relating to employment, development, education, and health. One key area of focus was on women empowerment, with the party saying that it was aiming to make 1 crore women Lakhpati Didis. The party also said that it would work on making select women entrepreneurs millionaires through its ‘Mission Crorepati.’

The party also promised one crore government jobs and employment.

As for infrastructure, the party said that it aimed to build 7 expressways, introduce new metro services, and new international airports.
