The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will deliberate on the socio-economic conditions of tribal areas, review the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, and prepare for its centenary celebrations at its all-India coordination meeting to be held in Jodhpur from September 5.

The three-day Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak will bring together around 320 functionaries representing 32 Sangh-inspired organisations, including BJP, VHP, Kisan Sangh, and ABVP.

Party chief J.P. Nadda will attend the meeting representing the political wing of the Sangh. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale are also expected to participate.

As the name suggests, the agenda is improving coordination among frontal bodies as they share notes and feedback on vital socio-political issues of the day, and thus help formulate a response.

The RSS meeting is not for decision-making, but serves as a platform to exchange experiences. Based on these discussions, each organisation will independently take decisions and shape its future activities.

As the BJP chief will also be present, he will be given feedback on several issues aimed at guiding the government’s intervention.

Following Bhagwat’s three-day lecture series in Delhi—which gave an ideological direction to the Sangh workers and a message to the country—the current meeting will be used as a key opportunity to further intensify efforts to spread the Sangh’s ideas to all sections of society.

Sunil Ambekar, who is in charge of the Sangh's publicity wing, said that the work done by various organisations on the National Education Policy 2020 would be reviewed, and discussions would be held on giving a new direction to the education sector.

“The positive changes taking place in tribal society and efforts to integrate them with the mainstream will also be assessed,” he said.

The RSS will assess the NEP, as it was one policy which was formulated with inputs from several Sangh bodies working in the field of education. It was during one such coordination meeting that the 'One Rank, One Pension' scheme for army personnel was keenly debated and formulated.

In less than a month, the RSS will mark the biggest event in its recent history as programmes for the forthcoming centenary year (2025–26) will be discussed.

On October 2, 2025 (Vijayadashami), centenary celebrations will commence from Nagpur, with volunteers in uniform participating in events at the mandal, village, and locality levels.

Throughout the centenary year, Hindu conferences, home outreach programmes, harmony meetings, gatherings of prominent citizens, and youth programmes will be organised across the country.

Ambekar stated that other themes included the “five transformations” identified by the RSS: social harmony, family awakening, environment-friendly living, self-reliant creation and the fulfilment of civic duties.

With less than a month left for kickstarting its centenary celebrations, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will hold its 3-day all-India coordination meeting in Jodhpur.

Around 320 functionaries representing 32 Sangh-inspired organisations will review annual activities, deliberate on socioeconomic issues, and prepare the roadmap for the RSS' centenary year.
