A five-year-old sick girl in Noida, who was on her way to the hospital with her father, succumbed to grievous injuries after a reckless student rammed his BMW car into their scooter. Noida police have arrested the student and his friend over the incident.
According to Noida police, the deceased was identified as Ayat (5), from Sadarpur Khajur Colony in Noida. Ayat was feeling sick for the past few days and she vomited several times on Saturday night. Ayat's father Gul Mohammed, along with his brother-in-law Raja, decided to take her to the Post Graduate Institute of Child Health in Sector 30.

While they were en route to the hospital, a BMW car driven by Yash Sharma rammed into the scooter near sector 30, causing serious injuries to three on the scooter. Aayat succumbed to the injuries on the spot itself and Raja, Gul Mohammed are undergoing treatment.

Noida police said Yash Sharma and his co-passenger Abhishek Rawat have been arrested and the BMW car has been seized. According to police, Rawat owns a restaurant in Noida. Both the BMW car and the scooter suffered severe damages in the crash. The health condition of injured persons are critical and further probe is underway, police said.
