Days after YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra's arrest, several shocking details about the alleged spy vlogger has been uncovered. It has now emerged that the 'Travel with Jo' vlogger tried to influence public opinion in the wake of the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians.

Jyoti Malhotra blamed the government and the innocent tourists for the attack carried out by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists. A video that has gone viral shows the woman suggesting that the terror attack was the result of complacency on the part of the government as well as the tourists who were not alert.

"It is not just the government, this is the responsibility of every individual who visits these place... and should be watchful," Jyoti can be heard saying in the video.

"I know J&K has high security; there are Army and police personnel in every corner. If something like this has happened... then we're also sat fault in some way. Perhaps we weren't watchful... which is why this happened. We should be watchful and responsible," she says.

Jyoti then goes on to say that if anyone supports these terrorists then we are not Indian. "If anyone supported those terrorists, then it is wrong. And we are responsible for that. Our government is also responsible because there was a security lapse," she adds.

It has been revealed that Jyoti Malhotra visited Pahalgam three months before the terror attack. NIA and IB are investigating whether she helped the terrorists carry out the attack by passing on sensitive information to ISI. The woman had also visited Pakistan four times, including once after her visit to Pahalgam. Her trips to China, Bangladesh and Dubai are also being investigated.

Danish, who was employed at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi and later expelled by India as persona non grata, was in close contact with Jyoti even a day before Operation Sindoor was launched on May 7. He had introduced the vlogger to Pakistani Intelligence Operatives. The duo who first met in 2023 also travelled to Bali, Indonesia together.

Officials have recovered the number of an ISI operative, Shakir alias Rana Shahbaz, whose name was saved as Jatt Randhawa on her phone. She passed on information via encrypted apps like Telegram and Snapchat.
