The trust responsible for managing the Ayodhya Ram Mandir has so far paid Rs 396 crore to various government agencies, and this includes Rs 272 crore worth of GST, and the temple construction will be over by June this year.

This information has come out of a meeting of trust members in Ayodhya.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra was formed on February 5, 2000. Significant expenses made since then include Rs 7.40 crore to labour fund for workers, Rs 4 crore in insurance policy, and Rs 5 crore to the Ayodhya Development for the map of the Janmabhoomi complex.

On the purchase of land in Ayodhya, Rs 29 crore has been paid as registration fee and revenue tax, and Rs 10 crore has been paid for electricity bill. The trust has also given work worth Rs 200 crore to the Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam.

In addition, 944 kg of silver donated by devotees has been handed over to the government treasury. The average purity of this is about 92 per cent.

The trust has also implemented an ERP system, which makes catching errors in finance, human resources, supply chain etc. easy.

While the temple will be ready by June, work on the rampart is likely to continue till October. Around 96 per cent of the construction work is over.

On Ram Navmi in April, the statue of Tulsidas who penned the Ramcharitmanas, shall be unveiled.

By April 30, all the idols that have to be installed in the Ram Mandir will be in place. A guest house will also be built in the premises and this will be available to pilgrims at a nominal price. Soon devotees will also be able to get bhog and arti done and the details for the same shall be made available on the trust's website.

Another important decision taken at the meeting was that after the death of Acharya Satyendra Das, no chief priest would be appointed for the temple.
