The Maharashtra state congress is launching a Sadbhavana Yatra from Massajog village in Beed district where young Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh was abducted, brutally tortured and murdered.
The yatra will commence on Saturday, March 8, from Massajog in Beed. Before that, on Friday, March 7, Congress State President Harshvardhan Sapkal will visit Madhi, Bhagwangad, and Narayangad to offer prayers for social unity. He will seek blessings at the samadhi of Saint Kanifnath in Madhi, Saint Bhagwan Baba in Bhagwangad, and Bhagwan Nagad Narayan in Narayangad.
On March 8, Harshvardhan Sapkal will visit the family of the late Santosh Deshmukh in Massajog before commencing the 51-kilometer-long Sadbhavana Padyatra. The two-day march will conclude on Sunday, March 9, in Beed, where a Sadbhavana gathering will mark the culmination of the yatra.
Several prominent leaders and social activists will participate in the march, including Former Justice B.G. Kolse Patil, Leader of the Congress Legislative Party Vijay Wadettiwar, Group Leader in the Legislative Council Satej (Bunty) Patil, Former Minister Dr. Vishwajit Kadam, Himachal Pradesh Congress In-charge MP Ranjitai Patil, Jalna MP Dr. Kalyan Kale, State Congress Vice President Mohan Joshi, Chief Spokesperson Atul Londhe Additionally, Congress officials, representatives from various social organisations, and a large number of citizens will join the yatra.
