Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the government will table 14 reports of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) at the assembly session scheduled to begin on February 14.

"Every single rupee of the hard-earned money of the public that was misused by the previous governments will be accounted for," Gupta said after a meeting of the BJP MLAs.

At the meeting, the legislators were given tips about the session as many of them are first-time MLAs, reported PTI.

The first session of the new Assembly will begin with the oath of the new members. A protem speaker will be sworn-in by Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena.

BJP MLA Arvinder Singh Lovely has been chosen as the protem speaker and he will conduct the session till a new speaker is elected.

The BJP has nominated Vijender Gupta and Mohan Singh Bisht as candidates for the posts of speaker and deputy speaker, respectively.

Gupta said the government will start its work for the people of Delhi during the three-day session.

She also hit out at the AAP, saying the previous government had left an "empty public exchequer" before the BJP dispensation.

"The condition which the (previous) government has left for us... when we sat with officers to review the financial status of the current government, we found that the government exchequer empty," she said.

According to an assembly bulletin, LG Saxena will address the assembly on February 25, after which the CAG reports will be tabled.
