Sushil Modi, senior BJP leader and former Bihar deputy CM, dies at 72

Modi was battling cancer for the last several months

Rajya Sabha MP and former Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi passed away at Delhi’s All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) this evening. He was 72.

The senior BJP leader had been battling cancer for the last several months and he was admitted to the intensive care unit of the AIIMS last month.
