The president of Thiruvananthapuram Press Club was booked by Kerala Police over alleged sexual harassment. According to Malayalam media reports, M Radhakrishnan is accused of sexually harassing a young woman publically in the capital city on February 3, Saturday.

The complaint accused M Radhakrishnan of making sexually charged comments at a two-wheeler-borne woman. The Press Club President is also accused of abusing her, The Fourth News said in a report. In her complaint filed before the Cantonment Police, the woman said it was around 7:45 PM on Saturday that the incident took place.

Based on her complaint, the cops initiated a probe by checking around 7 CCTV cameras near the location. She reportedly mentioned that the man wore and dhoti and arrived on a motorbike. Her complaint mentioned the registration number of the accused man's bike, the report added.

The CCTV visuals helped the police to identify Radhakrishnan, who was reportedly summoned to the police station. According to the news report, the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club president confessed that he was involved in an argument with the complainant on the said date. However, he denied having sexually harassed the woman.

In 2019, Radhakrishnan was arrested and remanded for trespassing into the house of a woman colleague. His alleged involvement in another sexual harassment job had cost the senior journalist his job, The Fourth added. The police will soon file a report in the court after implicating M Radhakrishnan.
