The NIA raided multiple locations in Bengaluru on Wednesday in connection with a terror conspiracy case, said reports.

Joining hands with state police, multiple NIA teams went to different locations where the suspects were believed to be staying. The suspects were actively involved in terror activities and operating with the help of foreign handlers, reported ANI.

This comes after the NIA had on December 9 arrested 15 ISIS operatives during raids in Maharashtra and Karnataka. They had recovered large amounts of unaccounted cash, firearms, sharp-edged weapons, incriminating documents and devices during the searches, said the report.

NIA probes revealed that the all the arrested who belong to ISIS Maharashtra module were operating from Padgha-Borivali where they had plotted to carry out terror acts across the country. The accused reportedly self-declared the village of Padgha in Thane as a 'liberated zone' and 'Al-Sham', according to the new agency.
