Higher procurement prices for wheat and paddy, domestic gas cylinders for Rs 450 for beneficiaries of 'Ladli Bahna' and 'PM Ujjwala' schemes and free education for girls till post-graduation are some of the key promises in BJP’s poll manifesto released on Saturday. BJP President J.P. Nadda, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other senior leaders of the party released the manifesto.
Releasing the manifesto Nadda said BJP delivers what it promises. “The state budget has increased by 14 times, the Gross State Domestic Product has increased by 19 times; We have also focused on the last-mile delivery, we did what we said,” he said.
Nadda said the BJP is the only party which implements the manifesto in letter and spirit and added BJP has also done what wasn’t announced in the manifesto. “For the first time in the country, medical education was given in Hindi and by linking the Prime Minister's Samman Nidhi with the Chief Minister's Farmer Welfare, Rs 12,000 was given annually to the farmers of Madhya Pradesh.”
