An under-construction bridge over the Ganga river collpased in Bihar's Bhagalpur on Sunday. No casualty has been reported.
The moment the bridge collapsed in the river was caught on camera by local people.
“The incident of under-construction bridge collapse happened at around 6 pm. No casualties reported till now. Local administration on the spot, we have asked for a report from 'Pul Nirman Nigam,” a top district official told ANI.
The bridge which connects Sultanganj and Khagaria districts was inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in 2016.
The government has ordered a probe into the incident.
