The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai raided a passenger cruise ship, busting a party onboard where drugs were being used. Among those detained from the incident included Aryan Khan, son of superstar Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, according to a statement by NCB director Sameer Wankhede. Seven others named were: Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra. All of them are being questioned and in NCB custody currently.

The anti-drug agency has registered an FIR in connection with the drugs party, said Wankhede. Based on a tip-off that a party was scheduled on the ship, an NCB team, led by Wankhede, had raided the Goa-bound Cordelia cruise ship on Saturday evening and recovered drugs from some of the passengers.

"During the operation, the suspects were searched and different drugs were recovered from them, which they had hidden in their clothes, undergarments and purses [by women]. The detained persons will be produced in a court later in the day after the legal formalities get over," an NCB official was quoted by news agency PTI.

According to reports, drugs like cocaine and MDMA (street name ecstasy/molly) were seized.
