With the polling for the assembly elections in five states coming to a close on Thursday evening, most of the exit polls have predicted that the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress would retain West Bengal while the DMK-led alliance would come to power in Tamil Nadu. Most of the pollsters have also predicted a second term for the Pinarayi Vijayan government in Kerala while in Assam, the BJP is likely to retain power.
