Pragya Thakur airlifted to Mumbai hospital after complaining of breathing troubles

The MP has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai

Bhopal MP Pragya Singh Thakur was airlifted to Mumbai for treatment on Saturday after she complained of breathing troubles.

According to news agency ANI, the MP has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. A few weeks ago, Pragya was admitted to Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi after she complained of similar troubles.

Earlier, in December, the MP was admitted to AIIMS after she had high blood pressure and breathing problems. Although she had COVID-19 like symptoms then, the MP had tested negative.

In June last year, she had claimed that she has health problems because of the "torture" she suffered under the Congress regime. "I sustained several injuries due to torture by the Congress for nine years. Many injuries resurface due to this torture. There was formation of pus and swelling in my eyes and brain. I have blurred vision in the right eye and I can't see at all from the left one," she had said, apparently referring to her imprisonment in the 2008 Malegaon blast case.
