President Ram nath Kovind on Wednesday rejected the mercy petition of Pawan Gupta, one of the convicts in the Nirbhaya gang-rape case
The hanging of the four convicts—Mukesh Singh, Vinay Sharma and Akshay Thankur and Gupta—was deferred until further orders, just hours before the scheduled hanging on March 3.
