CRPF jawans carry pregnant woman for 6 km through Bijapur jungles

A heartwarming video, which emerged on social media, shows a group of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel carrying a pregnant woman needing medical aid for almost six kilometres through the forest in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh.

According to reports, the incident occurred at Padeda village on Tuesday morning.

In the video, the expecting mother is seen lying in a cot and the CRPF men carrying her through the thick forest.

Later, on reaching a road, they made arrangements for the woman and sent her to a hospital in a vehicle. 

Recently, a similar video of Indian Army's Chinar Corps jawans carrying a pregnant woman through heavy snow for hours had gone viral on social platforms. Over 100 Army persons and 30 civilians walked with her on stretcher for almost four hours.

In another mind-blowing incident, local media in Odisha reported on Tuesday that a doctor, with the help of local people, carried a pregnant woman in a sling in Kuhudidula village in Kalimela, Malkangiri for a distance of 20 km.
