The captured pilot is reportedly undergoing medical checkup at Wagah

Pakistan has released captured IAF pilot Abhinandan Varthaman to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad on Friday. Sources said that Wing Commander Abhinandan would cross the Wagah-Attari border around 1 pm. 

In a peace gesture, Pakistan had on Thursday said that it would release Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, captured during a dogfight between India and the neighbouring country on Wednesday. 

According to official sources, a delegation of IAF team and Abhinandan's parents will receive him at the Wagah border.
