As the elections to Rajasthan and Telangana have come to an end on Friday, the focus has now shifted to the exit polls for the assembly polls in five states—Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Mizoram.
According to most of the exit poll predictions, the Congress and the BJP are locked in a tight race in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh while the Congress appears to have an upper hand in Rajasthan.
Madhya Pradesh
According to CSDS-ABP, the Congress will have an upper hand in Madhya Pradesh with the party projected to win as many as 126 seats in the 230-member house while the BJP would have 96 seats. India TV survey, meanwhile, shows the BJP surging ahead with as many as 122-130 seats while the Congress is projected to win 86-92 seats. CVoter-Republic TV survey projects a close contest with BJP expected to get 90-106 seats while the Congress 110-126 seats. Axis My India-India Today and Aaj Tak survey, too, shows a photo finish with the BJP expected to get 102-120 seats while the Congress is expected to get 104 to 122 seats.

Rajasthan
Most of the surveys suggest that the Congress will come to power in Rajasthan with the Axis My India -India Today and Aaj Tak survey showing a clear lead to the grand old party with 119-141 while the saffron party is projected to get 55-72. CNX-Times Now survey, too, indicates the Congress surging ahead with 105 seats in the 199-seat assembly while the BJP is expected to win as many as 85 seats.
Telangana
In the 119-member Telangana assembly, both CNX - Times Now survey and Republic Jan Ki Baat survey show the TRS taking a clear lead. The K. Chandrashekar Rao-led party is projected to get 52-65 seats according to Republic Jan Ki Baat survey while the Congress is projected to get 38-52 seats. According to CNX - Times Now survey, the TRS would have a clear lead with 66 seats and the Congress 37.
Chhattisgarh
Most of the exit polls predict a tight race in Chhattisgarh with Republic Jan Ki Baat, CNX-Times Now and India TV surveys suggesting a slight edge to the BJP. According to CVoter-Republic TV projections, the Congress would get 40-50 seats while the BJP 35-43 seats. The CNX-Times Now survey suggests a clear lead to the BJP with the saffron party projected to win as many as 46 seats while the Congress expected to win only 35 sets in the 90-member assembly. According to India TV survey, the BJP would get 42-50 seats while the Congress 32-38. Republic Jan Ki Baat survey shows a slight edge to the BJP with the party expected to win 40-48 seats and the Congress 37-43 while according to the Axis My India-India Today and Aaj Tak, the Congress would have a clear lead with the party projected to win 55-65 seats while the BJP is shown far behind with 21-31 seats.
Mizoram
According to CVoter seat projection for Mizoram, the Congress is expected to lose with the MNF expected to gain 16-20 seats while the grand old party is projected to get 14-18 seats.
