His health became a subject of intense public debate following a recent interview where his dramatic weight loss was visibly evident. Cutting added sugar from your diet significantly impacts your health, reducing the risk of obesity and type-2 diabetes while supporting healthy weight management.

Sugary foods and drinks cause blood glucose levels to spike rapidly, offering a fleeting burst of energy. However, this sharp incline is invariably followed by a steep drop—a phenomenon commonly known as a "sugar crash."

Consequently, a high-sugar diet triggers frequent daily crashes and erratic energy levels, leaving you fatigued and irritable. Furthermore, these sugar spikes can cause hormonal imbalances that manifest on your skin, directly triggering acne breakouts.

A high-sugar diet triggers hormonal imbalances that disrupt your skin, directly causing inflammatory acne breakouts.

Cutting added sugar significantly improves your wellness by reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes, protecting dental health, and lowering the risk of both liver and heart disease. Carrying excess weight increases your risk of high cholesterol and triglycerides. Slashing added sugars from your diet cuts empty calories, helping you manage your weight and naturally lower your cholesterol levels.

Versatile actor-director

Rajendran was the brother-in-law of popular actor and Kollam MLA Mukesh. He is the son-in-law of noted Malayalam theatre director O. Madhavan.

Widely regarded as a versatile artist, Rajendran's illustrious career spanned decades across Kerala's theatre and cinema landscapes.

An alumnus of the National School of Drama, New Delhi, and the Film and Television Institute of India, Rajendran began his career as a theatre artist. He made his film debut with 'Greeshman' in 1981 and went on to act in more than 50 films. His last film was 'Oru Perumkaliyattam', directed by Jayaraj, in 2023.

Rajendran is survived by his wife, Sandhya Rajendran, and his son, Divyadarshan.
