Ajay Devgn-starrer "Drishyam 3: The Conclusion" has delivered an impressive box office performance, collecting ₹407 crore worldwide in its first eight days of release. The film has maintained a strong presence in cinemas and has already surpassed the lifetime worldwide collection of its predecessor, "Drishyam 2".

Box office portal Sacnilk reported that on its second Friday (Day 8), the film earned ₹14.50 crore in India net collections (a 11.5% surge compared with Thursday's ₹13 crore). Its total India net collection has reached ₹260 crore, while its India gross stands at ₹312 crore. Overseas markets have contributed ₹95 crore to the worldwide total, including ₹6 crore on Friday.

The film continued to attract audiences across the country, with screenings running across 14,583 shows on its second Friday. Its strong performance suggests that audience interest remains high even after the opening weekend.

The film had a powerful start at the box office, collecting ₹62 crore on its opening day, October 2. This made it the third-biggest opening day in Bollywood history. The release also benefited from the national holiday and the popularity of the "Drishyam" franchise.

The movie collected ₹176.50 crore in its first three days, leveraging the extended holiday weekend. However, collections fell to ₹21 crore on Monday, a common trend for films that record strong opening weekends. During the middle of the week, daily collections settled between ₹13 crore and ₹15 crore before recovering on the second Friday.

Another advantage has been the lack of major competing Hindi releases, allowing the film to retain a large number of cinema screens during its second week.

With ₹407 crore already in the bank worldwide, "Drishyam 3" has not only outshone the Malayalam version starring Mohanlal (₹239.83 crore worldwide), but also "Drishyam 2", which earned approximately ₹342 crore over its entire theatrical run. It has also crossed the worldwide total of "Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior", which collected around ₹367.65 crore.

The next major target is the domestic net record of "Tanhaji" (₹279.59 crore). With its current momentum, "Drishyam 3" is likely to become the highest-grossing film of Ajay Devgn, although its final performance will depend on how well it holds in the coming weeks.
