With this latest performance, the film's total India gross collection has reached ₹40.48 crore, while its India net collection stands at ₹34.60 crore. The film is also performing steadily in overseas markets. Day 4 overseas collections stood at ₹2.50 crore, taking the overseas gross total to ₹7.50 crore. As a result, the film’s worldwide gross collection has reached ₹47.98 crore, according to figures tracked by Sacnilk.
The Tamil version naturally dominated the South market. On Day 4, the Tamil version collected ₹11.15 crore net with 67% occupancy across 2,884 shows. The Telugu version added ₹1.90 crore, recording 40.2% occupancy from 990 shows.
The four-day worldwide performance of "Mandaadi" is comparable to several successful mid-budget Tamil films that showed strong growth through audience word of mouth. "DC", starring Lokesh Kanagaraj, followed a similar upward trend and crossed the ₹50 crore worldwide mark during its opening week. "Garudan", which also starred Soori, displayed a comparable organic growth pattern, eventually earning more than ₹40–45 crore in its initial extended run. "Maanaadu", starring Silambarasan TR, also had a strong opening phase, grossing around ₹42 crore worldwide in its first four days before becoming a major blockbuster.
However, "Mandaadi" faces a much bigger financial challenge. Its reported ₹75 crore budget is significantly higher than that of "Maanaadu" (₹30 crore) and "DC" (₹25 crore). The film is a large-scale sports drama featuring expensive open-sea sequences, while Soori is reportedly taking a ₹20 crore salary.
This means "Mandaadi" cannot depend solely on a strong opening weekend. Unlike lower-budget films, it needs sustained audience support and a strong second-week run to recover its investment and achieve a decent profit.
