By Day 11, the film is reportedly on track to cross ₹100 crore in gross collections in India and ₹85 crore in net collections. It is also expected to enter the ₹200 crore worldwide club by the end of its second Monday.
Directed by Girish AD and featuring Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, the film has been gaining momentum with each passing day. Its second-weekend performance has been particularly impressive. The movie collected a combined ₹30.15 crore from the second Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as per Sacnilk.
On the second Sunday, the film earned ₹10.40 crore from 2,669 shows, recording 83% occupancy. The second Saturday brought in ₹10.20 crore from 2,641 shows, with 82% occupancy. On the second Friday, it collected ₹9.55 crore from 2,481 shows, with 83% occupancy.
The film’s opening weekend was relatively more modest, which makes the second week totals more impressive. It earned ₹4.90 crore on the first Friday from 1,507 shows, with 58% occupancy. Collections rose to ₹7.15 crore on Saturday and ₹8.80 crore on Sunday. This gave the film a three-day opening total of ₹20.85 crore.
The movie has also performed strongly overseas, collecting more than ₹98.50 crore so far.
In Kerala, it goes without saying that the film has emerged the victor amidst other big releases comprising Prithviraj Sukumaran's "Khalifa" and Yash's "Toxic".
