'Bethlehem Kudumba Unit' Day 2 Box Office: Nivin Pauly's latest rom-com nears ₹40 crore worldwide
This remarkable growth is attributed to strong word-of-mouth, the director's proven track record, and a significant family turnout during the Onam holiday. Furthermore, it marks lead actress Mamitha Baiju's third successful film this year
"Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" continued its strong run at the box office on Day 2, recording an India net collection of ₹7.15 crore from 1,803 shows. This takes its total India gross collection to ₹14.05 crore and India net collection to ₹12.05 crore after two days. The film also performed strongly

The film also performed strongly overseas. It earned ₹13.00 crore on its second day, taking its overseas gross total to ₹23.20 crore. With this, the film’s worldwide gross has reached an impressive ₹37.25 crore in just two days, as per box office data tracker Sacnilk.
One of the biggest highlights is the film’s growth on Day 2. Its ₹7.15 crore India net is 45.9% higher than the ₹4.90 crore collected on the opening day. Such growth is unusual for a major release, as films often see a drop after the first day.
The film has also begun rewriting records for not just Nivin Pauly but also for Malayalam cinema in general. Its opening-day worldwide gross of around ₹15.70–₹16.00 crore already put it ahead of the long-standing career record of "Kayamkulam Kochunni". In just two days, its worldwide gross has also crossed more than half of the lifetime collections of films such as "Jacobinte Swargarajyam" (₹38 crore) and "Action Hero Biju" (₹31 crore).
The strong word-of-mouth and director Girish AD's ("Premalu", "Super Sharanya") previous track record has led to impress family turnout during the Onam holiday period.
Notably, "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" has also turned out to be lead actress Mamitha Baiju's third hit this year in a short span, following Vijay's "Jana Nayagan" and Suriya's "Vishwanath & Sons".
