Malayalam heist thriller "I, Nobody" is set to premiere on JioHotstar on August 25, 2026. Directed by Nissam Basheer, known for "Rorschach" and "Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha", the film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead roles. It is expected to be available in Malayalam, with audio or subtitles in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
The story follows Rajeevan, played by Prithviraj, an ordinary government clerk whose life changes suddenly when he becomes involved in a ₹17-crore bank robbery. He finds himself caught between the police and criminals and is wrongly suspected of being part of the crime. As the danger grows, Rajeevan must fight to clear his name while protecting his family.
Parvathy plays Meera, Rajeevan's wife, while Hakkim Shahjahan, Vinay Forrt, Vijayaraghavan, Ashokan, Madhupal and Sanju Sivaram are also part of the cast in key roles. Khalid Rahman (director of "Anuraga Karikkin Vellam" and "Alappuzha Gymkhana") and Sudhi Koppa ("Ela Veezha Poonchira") play bank robbers.
Sameer Abdul wrote the screenplay, with Supriya Menon, Mukesh R. Mehta and C. V. Sarathi producing the film under Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment. Dinesh Purushothaman handled cinematography, while Jakes Bejoy and Harshavardhan Rameshwar composed the music. Ramees MB edited the film.
"I, Nobody" had a disappointing theatrical run, earning around ₹15 crore worldwide. Mixed reviews and negative word-of-mouth affected its performance after an initially decent opening weekend. However, The Week praised the film as an engaging, edge-of-the-seat thriller and highlighted Prithviraj's performance as one of his finest and the fight choreography. Read the full review here.
