Indian superstar Aamir Khan married his longtime partner, wellness coach and entrepreneur Gauri Spratt, on July 5, 2026. The couple officially registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act before celebrating with a small private ceremony at Aamir’s home in Bandra’s Pali Hill area in Mumbai.
The wedding was a simple and personal affair, reflecting the couple’s preference for privacy. Around 150 guests attended the celebration, including close family members, childhood friends, and a few friends from the film industry. Among those present were filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, politician Raj Thackeray, actor Elli AvrRam, former cricketer Irfan Pathan, and comedian Vir Das.
The couple’s families played an important role in the celebration. Aamir’s three children — Junaid and Ira from his first marriage, and Azad from his second marriage — were present, along with Gauri’s six-year-old son, Quinn. Aamir’s mother, Zeenat Hussain, also attended the ceremony.
Gauri wore an elegant ivory-toned traditional lace outfit, paired with layered jewellery and a floral braid. Aamir chose a classic white traditional kurta set with a statement brooch. Instead of hosting a lavish Bollywood-style reception, the newlyweds celebrated with a quiet lunch and a small gathering at home.
This is Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was first married to his childhood sweetheart, Reena Dutta, from 1986 to 2002. In 2005, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao. They welcomed their son, Azad, through surrogacy in 2011 before announcing their separation in 2021. Despite their divorce, Aamir and Kiran have remained on good terms and continue to work together on projects such as the Paani Foundation.
Aamir and Gauri first met in Bengaluru about 25 years ago, but later lost touch. They reconnected through family members in 2023; their friendship gradually developed into a relationship, and they eventually began living together. Aamir introduced Gauri to the public on his 60th birthday in March 2025, and the couple have now begun a new chapter together as husband and wife.
