Jeremy Allen White will return for the fifth and final chapter of one of the most beloved shows of all time. The show, which hails from the network FX, will premiere on June 25, 2026 (Thursday) in the U.S. on Hulu and Disney+.

In India, all the eight episodes will land on JioHotstar on June 26, 2026. For traditional cable viewers, episodes one and two will air on the FX channel on June 25, with one episode broadcasting each subsequent Thursday through August 6, 2026.

Season 5 is expected to pick up the morning after the frantic events of Season 4. Sydney, Richie, and Natalie (Sugar) have just discovered that Carmy has quit the food industry, leaving the restaurant entirely in their hands. Faced with severe financial strain, a building flood, and the looming threat of a property sale, the crew must band together for one final service to try and earn their coveted Michelin star.

This doesn't mean White, who plays Carmy, will be inactive. He remains a lead character and a central focus of the final season, despite his unexpected career move. While the narrative shifts the heavy operational spotlight to Sydney, Richie, and Sugar as they navigate the restaurant's final service, Carmy’s story remains the most central core of Season 5.

The official trailer also confirms that Carmy is still prominently featured, hinting that he will be exploring life outside the kitchen, since a major focal point for Carmy this season is his journey of self-discovery. He is attempting to learn who he is outside of the high-stress food industry and heal from his familial trauma. Both White and Ebon Moss-Bachrach have noted in interviews that while Carmy needed to step back, the final season perfectly balances his personal resolution alongside the rest of the main crew stepping up to lead.
