Ahead of its international OTT release on May 15, "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" has finished about Rs 90 crore short of the total domestic net earnings of "Pushpa 2: The Rule". As of now, it has earned a little above Rs 1,144.21 crore. "Pushpa 2" currently holds the absolute record for the highest India net collection at Rs 1,234.10 crore.
Conversely, "Dhurandhar 2" leads the worldwide gross by Rs 54.07 crore, currently at the second spot below the Rs 2000-crore milestone of "Dangal", an unattainable milestone considering that the Ranveer Singh movie is wrapping up its theatrical run. Strangely enough, "Dhurandhar 2" fared way better than "Dangal" in India. The Aamir Khan movie earned a net total of Rs 387 crore (a larger chunk of its lifetime gross came from overseas).
With a global haul of nearly Rs 1800 crore, "Dhurandhar 2" has, since its release on March 19, 2026, overtaken the lifetime global earnings of almost all big-time Indian blockbusters, including "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" (Rs 1,788 crore), "K.G.F: Chapter 2" (Rs 1,215 crore), and even its predecessor "Dhurandhar" (Rs 1,307 crore).
It has also completely outperformed other top Hindi earners like "Pathaan", "Jawan", and "Animal" to claim the crown of the highest-grossing Hindi film in history.
"Dhurandhar 2" has also knocked down the individual domestic net records of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" (Rs 1,030.42 crore), "Jawan" (Rs 643.87 crore), "Pathaan" (Rs 543.05 crore), and "K.G.F: Chapter 2" (Rs 859.70 crore).
As for the Indian streaming update, JioHotstar hasn't yet put out an official announcement. There are also reports that only the international version (on Netflix) will have an additional three minutes of previously unseen and uncensored footage, whereas the JioHotstar version will be streaming the censored theatrical version.
