The makers of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer "Ramayana" has unveiled the epic glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor's Rama in a trailer-length footage, laden with impressive visual effects. Producer Namit Malhotra shared the glimpse titled 'Rama'  on April 2 on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi, while confirming that the Part 1 will be indeed releasing on Diwali 2026.

Sharing the glimpse, Malhotra wrote, "Rama is the greatest of all time because he lived a life where the choices he made were always in the benefit of the greater good, duty over desire, and sacrifice over self. His legacy continues to enhance and empower humanity over time and bring the belief in the goodness of the human spirit to resolve all conflict and bring peace to the world."

A month ago, the team held their first-ever test screening of the movie in Los Angeles, USA for a select group of people which included viewers from different age groups. The initial reports are said to be leaning towards the positive with special praise for the film's massive scale and stunning visual effects apart from the rooted storytelling.

"Ramayana" Part 2 is slated for release on Diwali 2027.
