As of March 31, 2026, the "Dhurandhar" franchise has significantly disrupted the all-time Hindi box office rankings, challenging the long-standing records of "Pushpa 2", "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" and "K.G.F: Chapter 2".
While "Pushpa 2: The Rule" set a historic benchmark when it released in late 2024, the "Dhurandhar" films — both directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh — have recently pushed the ceiling even higher for single-language Hindi performances.
The domestic gross of "Dhurandhar 2" currently stands at Rs 1042.23 crore. Compared to this, "Dhurandhar" managed an India gross of Rs 1,007.85 crore.
The domestic gross of the Hindi version of "Pushpa 2" is Rs 935 crore.
The Hindi version of "Baahubali 2" collected a domestic lifetime gross of Rs 801 crore.
"KGF: Chapter 2" (Hindi) domestic gross totals Rs 517.86 crore.
The domestic gross of "Pushpa 2" (Hindi) is ₹970 crore.

Once again, we must remember that for "Pushpa 2", "Baahubali 2", and "KGF 2", these numbers represent the Hindi-dubbed version only. Their overall multi-language collections are much higher.
"Dhurandhar 2" and its predecessor are the first films to gross over Rs 1,000 crore in the Hindi language alone. In comparison, "Baahubali 2" achieved its Rs 1,430 crore India gross only by combining all languages (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam).
"Dhurandhar 2" maintained daily Hindi net collections above Rs 40 crore for 9 consecutive days, a feat that neither "Baahubali 2" nor "K.G.F 2" achieved during their original runs.
While "Baahubali 2" still holds the record for the highest India gross (all languages) at Rs 1,417 crore, "Dhurandhar 2" is currently chasing this record, having already crossed the Rs 1,000 crore India gross mark in record time.
"Dhurandhar 2" surpassed the lifetime Hindi collection of "K.G.F 2" in just 11 days.
"Pushpa 2" (Hindi) was the first film to cross the Rs 800 crore mark.
