Dhurandhar: The Revenge breaking box office records has become a regular affair. A new peak has been recorded in North America, where a decade-long milestone has been surpassed by the spy-action drama.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has become the highest-grossing Indian film in North America by surpassing the final tally of S. S. Rajamouli's Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Dhurandhar 2's collection in the region has already crossed the $20.80 million record set by Baahubali 2 in 2017. In third spot is Dhurandhar 1 with $20.65 million. Kalki 2898 AD takes fourth place with $18.60 million, while Pathaan rounds out the top five with $17.49 million.

"The Ranveer Singh-starrer has crossed the $20.80 million mark in just nine days, overtaking Baahubali 2's lifetime gross in the region. What makes this achievement extraordinary is the speed; a record that stood tall for nearly a decade has now been broken in under ten days," box office data-tracking website Sacnilk said in a report.

Ranveer Singh's espionage thriller stands a realistic chance of becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Currently, Aamir Khan's sports drama Dangal holds the pole position, having managed ₹2,070 crore, followed by Prabhas' Baahubali 2 (₹1,788 crore) and Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 (₹1,742 crore). The second part of the Aditya Dhar duology has reportedly crossed the ₹1,350 crore gross mark.

The film set the tone with a record-breaking opening weekend, collecting ₹761 crore globally in its first four days. The momentum was sustained through the weekdays, with the film collecting ₹64 crore on Monday, ₹58 crore on Tuesday, ₹49 crore on Wednesday, and ₹53 crore on Thursday in India.

R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi play important roles alongside Ranveer Singh. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.
