Box office: 'Dhurandhar 2:' within striking distance of 'Baahubali 2' to become the highest-grossing Indian film in North America

'Dhurandhar: The revenge's' total net domestic collection has crossed Rs 750 crore on Day 10 while the total gross collection has surpassed Rs 900 crore in India box office

'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge' is rewriting box office history

Dhurandhar: The Revenge was easily the most anticipated Bollywood movie of the year. Living up to expectations, Aditya Dhar's spy-action drama is racing ahead, breaking box office records with each passing day.

Most recently, Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2) has taken its collection in North America to the $19.40 million mark, after it managed another $1.3 million on its second Friday, a box office data-tracking website showed. This has helped the Ranveer Singh movie move past Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD's lifetime gross of $18.60 million in the region.

By overtaking the Telugu dystopian drama, Dhurandhar 2 has now become the third highest-grossing Indian movie in North America. In second position is the 2025 sequel (Pushpa 2), which collected $20.60 million. Sacnilk expects this tally to be broken by the end of Saturday, leaving it trailing only Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The S. S. Rajamouli film managed $22+ million in North America, a figure that now looks achievable for the espionage thriller.

Earlier, the film became the first Indian film to cross the ₹100 crore milestone in a single day in one language, earning ₹145 crore (nett) combined in paid previews and on its opening day in India.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge was released on 19 March in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. It features R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi alongside Ranveer Singh in important roles. The performance once again reinforces the belief that word-of-mouth matters in the long run, not overblown marketing strategies.

Meanwhile in India, Dhurandhar 2 reportedly collected ₹41.55 crore on its second Friday, In comparison, Pushpa 2: The Rule, another trendsetting blockbuster in the nation's cinema landscape, had earned ₹43.43 crore on its second Friday. However, the Telugu movie was able to follow it up with strong collections—getting ₹75.49 crore on Saturday and ₹91.31 crore on Sunday, taking its total second-weekend collection to ₹210.23 crore (India gross).
